I started building furniture and designing interior spaces when I was 19 after growing up doing finish carpentry with my father. Since then I have gone through many phases and styles. I think not going to school to learn my trade formed the way I create things. I find that I go about the design process in a whole different way, and just recently came to appreciate that. I try to incorporate as many styles, era’s, colors, and textures into my pieces. I think not going for a specific style can make things a bit more timeless. The furniture of the 50’s and 60’s inspire me the most, and I think it shows through in many of my pieces.
