"Inspired by the rolling vineyards of the Rhineland located in southwest Germany, I created a logo, wine label and accordion book for a winery in Trier. The packaging puts a modern spin on the company’s unique history and rich tradition, encompasses both the beauty of the landscape and the mystery behind the company’s name “Zeller Schwarze Katz,” which literally translates to “Black Cat from the town of Zell.” The cat plays a more ominous, abstract role in the system."
Graphic designer from Kansas City, Missouri. Highly motivated person driven by a strong passion for design. I attribute my love for clean typography and a systematic approach to design problems to the 6 months I spent studying abroad in Germany. I was influenced by the simplicity, organization and attention to detail in their work, which quickly began to show up in my own.
