Quotes on Shit    |    http://quotesonshit.tumblr.com

We all use so much shit. We collect shit, buy shit, steal shit, trade shit and then throw shit away. So what happens with all this old shit? Is there a life after it leaves our hands? Shit winds up in our garbage, on our streets, in our landfills, and in our junk shops. QOS feel bad for this abandoned and rejected shit so they’re rescuing these objects and breathing new life into them by giving them a voice with words. They want to turn old shit into new shit, and give them a second chance to be loved and help find this shit a new home. QOS is a side project by Jessica Walsh and Timothy Goodman.

Lundgren + Lindqvist    |    http://lundgrenlindqvist.se

"Baltic Porter is a beer style indigenous to northern Europe. It is similar to the English Porter, originating from the strong Porters and Stouts that were shipped to the Russian empire throughout the 1800s. The Baltic Porters are usually very dark in colour with high notes of coffee and chocolate flavour. The dark beer with its Baltic provenance, with shores facing the Baltic Sea, led us think about the work of artist Karen Gunderson. We have long admired her edge-to-edge paintings of black seas and when O/O started to plan the release of their pitch black Baltic Porter, she was the perfect match. Consequently, we approached Gunderson which led to a collaboration for the Baltic Porter labels, for which we used her painting ‘Churning Grace - Out to Sea’."

Lundgren+Lindqvist is a design and development studio based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Operating out of a harbour-side rooftop studio in an old sugar factory, theirr process is based on research and led by ideas. Theye animate ideas with design ❤ code.
