The Motivated Type   |   http://etsy.com/shop/TheMotivatedType

We create art with words, using vintage typography and subway posters as inspiration. We turn words that make us laugh and keep us moving into works of art and apparel that we hope will do the same for others.

Words have tremendous power. They can make us think, challenge us and inspire us. Words can make us smile, laugh and push us to our potential. One phrase can make all the difference between walking away and trying again. And one sentence can encourage us with a lesson that we never forget.

Dominik Bubel   |   http://dominikbubel.de

My constant ambition is to merge and restrict typography, moving images and illustrations. Therefore, my design is reduced but holistic at the same time. You can notice that most of my designs are strictly grid based in order to create a constant and to silence the abstract work. I am looking for multi-layered input of my environment like art, foreign cultures and all kinds of literature which is reflected in my preference for interdisciplinary design.
