Post-modernist Apartment Design That Combines Bold Colors, Art, and Geometric Shapes by Ksoul Studio
A house is more than just a place to rest your head at night or enjoy a cozy meal; it's also a warm space where you can truly express yourself and feel at home.
For this project, the owner, who has a background in graphic design and a strong passion for high fashion, wanted a bold and expressive design. Ksoul Studio selected postmodernism as the design direction, incorporating elements of pop art and Memphis styles for the apartment's interior design.

The "Underground Rebellion" theme is reflected through the use of graphic RGB colors, which combine bold geometric designs with soft, curved ivory white walls. This blend creates a unique living space that, while seemingly juxtaposing opposites, ultimately delivers a striking aesthetic. Ksoul opted for a grinding stone backdrop adorned with multicolored stone grain patterns alongside vibrant interior colors to enhance the visual effect and achieve a more cohesive color scheme.
The design cleverly balances strong colors with gentle pastel tones, promoting harmony within the overall space. The carefully selected decor and furniture contribute to a cohesive layout and aesthetic. Notably, light-filled glass tiles serve as a partition between the bedroom and the living room, maximizing natural light and expanding the living area.
For greater flexibility, Ksoul also incorporated a 180-degree rotating TV stand, allowing it to be viewed from either the bedroom or the living room.
By emphasizing a youthful and creative lifestyle, Ksoul delivered a stylish apartment that boldly reflects their client's individuality through every design detail.
